Everyone comes to the Y for a different reason. It is our goal to help assist you every step along the way with our supportive and friendly staff, results-driven group exercise classes, cutting edge equipment, and state-of-the-art facility. We strive to make the membership experience judgement free and approachable but we know starting something new can be hard for anyone. Our Member Services Staff is here to welcome, engage and assist you throughout your membership experience. The Y is more than just a gym, we are a wellness, community-based lifestyle.

Youth Access to Health & Wellness Center

Please note that children under the age of 13 years old are not allowed in the Health & Wellness Center. It is important to know that the majority of our equipment is not suitable for children. Teens age 13-17 are strongly encouraged to meet with a Health & Wellness Trainer for one complimentary orientation prior to using the Health & Wellness Center.

Continuous Monthly Membership Debit Policy

The Continuous Monthly Debit membership is a budget friendly membership option. These continuous memberships have no expiration date. Reoccurring payments are automatically debited from a debit or credit card, or checking/savings account on the first of each month. The monthly membership have no expiration date and will continue to debit a payment from each month until a cancellation form is submitted; please see cancellation policy below. An active membership term of 6 months (not including holds) is the minimum commitment that is required for this membership. Memberships are non-refundable.

Membership Freeze/Hold Policy

Continuous monthly draft memberships can be put on hold for a maximum time frame of three (3) months within a calendar year. Membership must be in good financial standing and program fees paid to be eligible for a hold request. All holds are subject to approval by Y Membership Coordinator. If applicable, holds cannot be applied to times your child is enrolled in Y youth programming receiving the member rate. All Holds begin on the first day of a calendar month and end on the last day of the month during the approved hold period. Membership holds are only accepted in writing via hard copy (Hold Agreement Form) or email toMember Services contact Mia at mventola@ymcamv.org. Holds cannot be authorized over the phone or verbally. Memberships that have been on hold cannot cancel until after minimum membership-term is completed.

Membership Cancellation Policy

Members with a monthly draft membership can cancel their membership by submitting written notice (Cancellation Form or email to mventola@ymcamv.org) 30 days prior to the first of the month. For example, if a membership cancellation form is submitted on October 20, payment is processed November 1, and the membership terminates on November 30. Cancellations cannot be authorized over the phone or verbally. All memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. When a membership is canceled, rejoins will be subject to the $75 commitment fee again if the membership is inactive for 3 months or longer. Monthly debit membership requires a minimum 6 month period of being active prior to requesting cancelation (active term cannot include hold). Annual full pay membership are non-refundable unless for medical reasons.

Guest Policy

As a member you can bring a guest for their first visit to the Y for free. If you bring a guest in with you that has visited the Y before, their day pass is discounted to $15 for an adult and $5 per child (4-19 years old).
